The painting, made in oil on canvas and in excellent condition, is already lined.
The dimensions of the painting with the frame are 76cmx58.5cm, while they are 69cmx 51cm without.
It depicts the "Pentecost". As you can see, the characters represented are the Madonna and the apostles, with the Holy Spirit above, symbolized by the dove.
There are also, in addition to the apostles, depicted with various expressions of wonder and amazement at what is happening, various books on the floor of the room where the characters are.
The painting dates back to the second half of the seventeenth century, that is, the seventeenth century. The composition is divided into two levels, according to the dictates of Trent. The part where the apostles are located is painted with bright colors, while the part depicting the Holy Spirit at the top is rendered with the yellow typical of sunlight.
The school of the artist who created this work is Italian and there are similar compositions on the market, although in this case the quality is excellent. Just look at the faces, the hands, as well as the quality of the draperies and the realism of the poses and expressions of the characters, rendered with great skill.
The colors are also of excellent quality.
