This is a landscape painting from 1850 with the original frame, created specifically for the painting and in near perfect condition. The painting measures 62cmx32cm unframed and 92cmx62cm framed. The frame is sold together with the painting. This landscape shows that the unknown artist studied in some academy of fine arts: in fact the colors and drawing are expertly orchestrated. The frame has some small restoration defects, but overall it is extraordinary; made of wood and plaster, it depicts vine shoots, oval decorations and other phytomorphic material.
