This painting, made in oil on canvas by an artist of the second half of the 17th century, is a replica of the Adoration of the Magi which is preserved in the "King's College Chapel" in Cambridge, made in 1633-1634.
It measures 61cmx49.5cm with the frame and 43cmx54cm without. The artist is perhaps Flemish, given the skill with which he rendered the details of the characters and objects.
The work is very nice and in excellent condition of conservation. There is only a small applied menda on the original canvas. The stretcher has been replaced.
The frame, which is not original, is sold and shipped with the painting, but is to be considered a gift.
The painting will be shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
The painting will be shipped via Mail Boxes etc.
